In partnership with The Leaven, we fund, sponsor and staff an extensive tutoring and life skills program in one of Vacaville’s most challenged neighborhoods at Alamo Gardens Apartments. Since launching the program, our police department reports there has been a 50% decrease in crime and calls for service, and many families have been introduced to the love of Christ. Cadence International is a Christian ministry dedicated to reaching the military communities of the United States and of the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Since 1954, Cadence has grown from a small mission to an organization with staff in many locations worldwide.

Cadence serves all branches of the military in stateside and overseas locations. Comprised of 1.3 million active-duty personnel, the U.S. military community has proven to be one of the largest, most responsive subcultures today. Cadence ministers not only to military personnel, but to their spouses and dependents as well.

Valley has partnered with Compassion International over the past 4 years to sponsor an entire village in Honduras. Compassion is a holistic sponsorship program that meets the educational, physical, and spiritual needs of children from when they enroll in the program until they are adults. Compassion partners with the local churches to run programs that teach the children Biblical truth while also providing nutritional food and health care services. In addition to child sponsorship, we have done fundraising efforts for clean water initiatives and disaster relief.
