Our Missionaries:

Due to security concerns in the countries they are serving some cannot be listed by names or pictures.

The Dervishis (Vladimir, Mimoza, Andi and Kevin) in California

Vladimir and his family grew up in Albania, a land where communist dictatorship ruled for half a century. God put a burden on Vladimir’s heart to take God’s Word to his country men in their native tongue. He finished the New Testament in eight years and is now working on the Old Testament, along with the Albanian-Hebrew Interlinear version, a commentary, a concordance and a Hebrew-Albanian dictionary.

Jim and Marty G, serving in South Asia

Jim and Marty are also members of Valley. Jim and Marty have been in a restricted access country for a few years. They were working in the private sector until a few years ago when they felt the call of God to go to a country where most people have never heard the name of Jesus. They sold everything, quit their jobs, left their grown children and their parents, and moved far away from all they knew. Their main goals involve learning the language and establishing relationships in a country that has very few known believers. There is a small body of believers in this country that is gripped in spiritual darkness. They are involved in training church leaders with bible studies, establishing micro finance programs for the church to become financially self-sufficient, discipling and training Nationals to start house churches.

The Johnson’s in BirminghamEngland

John and Irene Johnson and their four children are serving with the Evangelical Free Church. Their ministry is with the large Muslim population who has immigrated to England.

Gary and Jane Foster

Gary and Jane have been members at Valley since 1984. In 1997 they decided to join the First Nation’s People Ministry. Gary and Jane are working with Wiconi International. Wiconi International is an organization making historic progress in bringing about new ways of ministering to First Nation’s People. Wiconi works in North America and overseas with evangelistic outreach teams and have organized a series of conferences within the Body of Christ. Their materials are being used by ministry leaders throughout North America. Gary and Jane currently live in Idaho and are responsible for creating networks of pastors, and linking them with other resources to better serve Native Americans through evangelism and discipleship.

Brian and Erin Richerson in Kijabe, Kenya

Brian and Erin and their children Jakin, Keilah and Silas are serving at the Rift Valley Academy, a school for the children of missionaries. Their service enables missionaries all over Africa to do their ministry. Brian works in the financial office of the school and Erin is a teacher. They are also working with the Youth Group, sponsoring a class and doing local outreach.

A family living in Asia Minor as “tentmakers”

This family ministers with their professional skills in a restricted access country, assisting full time ministers with evangelism and discipleship.

A family in West Asia

This family is involved in ongoing, long-term ministry in a restricted access country among one of the world's least-reached people.

Alan and Renee Lindvall in Redlands, California

Alan and Renee provide guest housing for missionaries from Missionary Aviation Fellowship (MAF). Their ministry is hospitality and encouragement to missionaries on furlough, candidates preparing for overseas, volunteers and trainees (flight instructors, Chief Pilots, Chief of Maintenance Mechanics).

Chris and Erin Lujan, Papua New Guinea (PNG)

Chris and Erin Lujan and their son, Ethan, are serving with New Tribes Mission in PNG along with two other missionary families.  They will spend several years learning the language and culture of the Siar people, who live on New Ireland.  Eventually they will translate the Bible and begin teaching the word of God to the Siar in their native language in this career missionary service.
