While many profitable things can and do happen in Growth Group’s there are three basic elements that are essential and make Growth Group’s what they are.

• Sharing:     Growth Group’s are built upon relationships—and this means open and honest sharing in an environment that is truly gracious and appropriately responsive.

• Studying God’s Word:     The fuel for growth comes as the Scriptures are studied together. This is not the place for another lecture or sermon but is discussion directed toward how we apply God’s word and live it out in our daily experiences and relationships. (Many of our groups will be doing this through the use of the Growth Group questions listed on the back of the sermon notes.)

• Supporting each other:     The relationships built here become the place where we practice the biblical “one-anothers”—prayer, meeting needs, encouragement and exhortation as needed, and so forth.
